Professional Development Workshops and Registration Information
A schedule of professional learning activities offered in MPS is available to all certificated staff. Pick up a copy at your school or at the Professional Development Office at 515 South Union Street. You can register for workshops and view the schedule on line at https://pdweb.alsde.edu under PD Titles.

MPS Professional Learning Standards
Professional learning standards were adopted by the Montgomery County Board of Education in 2002, as a means of ensuring effective professional learning opportunities for school and district staff. A district-wide acknowledgment of these standards led to “Powerful Conversations” in 20 of our schools. Schools having been involved in conversations include:
