Overview
The Media Resource Center and Professional Library provide print and nonprint resources, equipment, and services to support the curriculum of Montgomery Public Schools. Requests for resources may be made through the MPS email; MPS Pony Service (complete form MPS 126-2002); IP (70118); telephone (269-3820); or fax (269-3929). Please include your name, school, title(s)of resource(s) or subject(s), and the date(s) you would like the resource(s) delivered to your school. The Media Center hours of operation are 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily. You can check the availabilty of equipment and AV materials online by clicking here.
Accelerated Reader
Montgomery Public Schools has access to all Accelerated Reader Quizzes. Our quiz list is updated weekly. Currently it contains over 100,000 quizzes consisting of reading practice, vocabulary, and literacy skills.
Note: Just because a book is on your child’s reading level does not mean that the book is appropriate for your child. Always check content, interest, and reading levels before recommending a book for a child to read.
You may check to see if a book has a quiz by going to www.renlearn.com
- click on the yellow box ’visit our on-line store’
- select quiz store
- type in your book title and click ’go’ or use the drop down box to select author and type in the author’s name and click ’go’
- The title will come up if it is an AR book
- The type of quizzes available will appear to the left of the book
- The reading and interest levels as well as the point value will appear to the right of the title
