Technology Support Services- Mission Statement

The Montgomery Public School System is convinced that the use of technology can help students think, learn, communicate and process information more effectively. Technology can advance the progress in the educational environment and improve student achievement. The Montgomery Public School System is committed to including this effective learning tool in every classroom.

Areas of Responsibility

Educational Technology is devoted to furthering education through means of technology. Our goal is to train teachers, students and others on how to use technology. Technology can be used in the office, classroom, and meetings. We provide training through means of computer labs, hands on training and distance learning labs. Donated Computers

The community is an important part of making schools successful. While our Technology Support Services office does not directly accept computers, we do work with schools that receive donations directly from area companies. If a machine is serviceable we make every attempt to repair and reload the system to MPS standards. Machines that do not meet minimum specifications are dismantled and the parts used to repair other systems in the school.
