Montgomery Public Schools

The Fine Arts programs offered by Montgomery Public Schools include K-12 coursework in music, visual arts, theatre, and dance. Instruction focuses upon the elemental concepts in each art form, as well technical training from beginner through advanced levels. Not all programs are offered at all schools.

Goals for Fine Arts

1. To provide quality arts education coursework.
2. To provide k-12 students with arts instruction aligned with the Alabama Course of Study- Arts Education.
3. To utilize arts education integration to support teaching and learning across subject areas.
4. To prepare students K-12 for opportunities in the arts outside of the classroom framework.
